Tyler, famous for its field-grown roses, is a lovely area only 30 miles from Silverleaf's Villages.  This self-contained vacation community is located on the banks of Lake Palestine, one of the best fishing lakes in eastern Texas.  The Villages Marine and Grocery offers Jet Ski, bass and pontoon boat rentals.  After enjoying the lake take advantage of the horseback riding trail that winds through the woods and along the shoreline.

Week #27 is a great vacation opportunity; it oftens occurs during the Fourth of July holiday.
